Appreciate it Mouse. He was blessed and lived to 91yrs of age. The best thing is that he was able to say goodbye to most everyone he loved. I took my girls to see him in the hospital the day before his death, so hopefully they will remember him.

Though he lived a long life, it is still hard to say goodbye. My belief in Christ gives me comfort. I think of my grandfather as lucky, because he gets to reunite with a lot of people I love dearly. Especially my brother Nick who passed away at the age of 23.

Sorry to hear 2 cents. I lost my grandmother a month ago. She was about to be 98 this month. She lived a full life and was loved by many. She was a great person and I miss her. Im sure you feel that same and your grandfather sounds like a great man. Hang in there 2 cents.

thanks everyone. Honestly, I'm not all that sad because he did have a long blessed life. What more can we ask for? After losing my brother I see things in a lot better perspective.
