• Candidate will work on developing, testing, deploying and supporting our custom developed statistical analysis applications using Microsoft SQL Server, Visual Basic.NET, and the Microsoft.NET Framework.
• SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work with general managers, coaches, scouts to define and create reports using Active Reports component Enhance VB.NET windows based application with new features/requirements Develop stored procedures Automate data loading and import into SQL Server from various statistical data feed formats Design and Automate ETL processes Provide data modeling and do entation Lead testing and deployment management Manage data warehousing and analysis
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• 2 to 4 years experience with Microsoft .NET platform developing applications
• 1 to 2 years experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2000
• Should have knowledge of stored procedures, T-SQL, DTS, indexing, performance tuning and security
• Working knowledge of Visual Basic.NET
• Knowledge of Active Reports component
• Experience in usage of the CSLA Business Object Library
• Understanding of networking basics
• Bachelor's degree (Computer Science or Engineering), verifiable by transcripts Experienced problem solver Self-starter that can handle multiple tasks and priorities with limited direction
