if he does comeback to the warriors, will that be a bargain instead of resigning him 6months ago?
umm this will costs the warriors a few of their young players, i doubt the clippers want anything to do with maggette
http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archiv...n_to_warriors/Golden State's Stephen Jackson recently spent time with former teammate Baron Davis, who revealed to him that he wouldn't mind returning to the Warriors less than six months after leaving via free agency.
"That's all we talked about," Jackson said. "I went to his house, spent some time with his mom and his grandmother. He wants to come back. And if he wants to come back, I want him back."
Things haven't gone well for Davis in Los Angeles, where he signed this offseason.
"I think that would be great for us," Jackson said. "Coach loves him. Him and (guard) Monta (Ellis) have good chemistry. If they could work that out, that would be great for the organization."
The Clippers are a joke.

I would love to see that happen again but i dont see it coming true
Money might not be everything after all...
Bdiddy got cornholed when Brand or whoever left the clippers. I wouldn't blame him. Also sharing a stadium with the lakers has to be hard on the ego.
I thought Stephen Jackson wanted to leave GS?
How about they get Barnes and Richardson back from Phoenix. That was a fun team.
He didn't ''cornhole'' anyone. Brand left before Davis signed with LA.
With the way Brand has played this season, the Clippers lucked out on not signing him to a max deal.
This is true.
What a $%^%$##
He leaves for the $ and now that?
He left to be in LA, not the dough. He could have got that contract in Oakland.
Davis had already agreed to a deal. He gave his word. He was just honorable enough to not pull a Boozer on the Clippers even after Elton Brand cornholed them.
Then why is he already wanting to jump ship? If he just wanted to be in LA it wouldn't matter that the Clippers suck. And it's not like the Warriors are any better so what sense does it make that he wishes he could go back to Oakland?
He obviously left because he figured a Brand-Maggette-Davis big 3 was good enough to win a le, and was better than any team the Warriors could put together. He got screwed over by those guys, especially Elton.
He got here and realized he didn't like the organization. I know Davis has some company in LA and felt it would be easier to keep ties here. His heart is in Oakland, though, and that's where he wants to be.
So he basically agreed while Brand was there and kept his word. I was under the impression that he was assured Brand would stay there.

Brand never made an actual agreement with them, but the Clippers and Baron Davis were given the impression that he was staying. And they got that impression from him.Brand said he plans to stay with the Clippers despite his decision, even if he must accept a contract below the NBA maximum for free agents.
he got cornholed.
Ex Clippers and current Clippers are hilarious and sad.
As a warrior fan I would love to have him back, and Id love to get rid of that black hole of a player in Maggette....
I know most people could care less about what goes on in golden state, Baron didn't leave for the money, or to go home...he wanted to be a warrior, it is public knowledge around here that Baron and Mullin had a 3 year extension worked out and nboth sides were happy....until our asshole president Robert Rowell came in at the last minute and decided he would rather let Baron walk...and sign mags for 55 ing mil?!?!
The Warriors wouldn't pay Davis $65 million when they play a style that suits his game and he is the heart and soul of that team...but they paid Maggette $55 million when they already have about 89 sf/sg types that can score and do nothing else.

I wonder if Nellie and Mullins would do a Biedrins for Josh Howard swap. I don't think Golden State has enough headcase swingmen. They have a real deficit there.
"No, I don't want out," Baron Davis told The Times on Monday at practice. "I don't know what Stephen Jackson got from my conversation. That never came out of my mouth. "I'm here. I'm here doing the same thing I did at Golden State. The first year I got to Golden State it was rough. It was a tough season. We were figuring each other out, figuring out the system. That transition year is always a tough year."
"We talked about how I miss playing with him. When you see people, you miss what you had," Davis said. "Obviously, in no way shape or form am I ready to jump ship.
"That's not why I came here. That's not why I committed to come here. I'm committed here to turn this thing around. I like the talent on this team, I like the promise. -- Los Angeles Times
