We'll see if the Spurs can shake off the back to back blues.

I look for Roger Mason to have an improved night along with Michael Finley.

Duncan shouldn't have to play heavy minutes but I forsee him getting about 30 35. With Brand out, Dalembert will get the assignment I assume and usually players like Dalembert do really well on Duncan. Long, lanky, athletic players.

Spurs should win, but it will be a tough assignment as the Sixers present many matchup problems.

    Game blog: Spurs vs. 76ers
    By Joe Alexander

Both teams are playing the second game of a back-to-back when the Spurs take on the Philadelphia 76ers at the AT&T Center.

The Spurs are coming off a 91-80 road victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday. Tim Duncan led the Spurs with 20 points and 10 rebounds.

The Sixers have lost five of their last six games. They lost to the Mavericks 96-86 Friday night in Dallas. Andre Iguodala led the Sixers with 22 points. Andre Miller had 17 points and 11 rebounds.

The Spurs have won three of the last four meetings with the Sixers. The teams split their two games last season and the Spurs won both games in 2006-07. The Sixers have lost 20 of the last 21 times they played in San Antonio.

Here is the latest on the 76ers:

    Kate an, Philadelphia Inquirer
Yes, the 76ers are the NBA's worst long-range-shooting team at 29.1 percent. Yes, they are the only NBA team below 30 percent. Yes, they were worst in the NBA last season, too.

Tied for, but the key thing to look at is loss column and the Hornets have 9, the Spurs have 11. the Spurs have played I believe 2 or 3 more games than the Hornets.

I think the Hornets are 20-9, Spurs 21-11.

    Hornets play tonight as well.

With a Spurs win and a Hornets loss The Spurs will indeed take the #1 spot on their division.

Spurs win= they get half a game and tie with Hornets.
    +
Hornets lose= they lose the half a game they have over the Spurs

While correct, remember again, the Hornets have 3 games in hand opposite the Spurs, two up in the loss column, so the Spurs will have to take care of business especially against the Hornets, but also hope for a tad bit of help.

Keys will be shutting down the paint and transition defense. If we can force the 76ers into jumpers we will be fine.

Agreed. Pack the paint and force them into jumpers and get the long rebounds. Not the toughest of defensive game plans tonight. Iguodala though is a great penetrator so Mason and Bowen will have their work cut out for them.
Parker and Hill also have to be agressive on their D on Andre Miller, because letting him get going would open things up for AI and others.

I think around the time he came back he had a couple of good games, but other than that, Ginobili has not been spectacular. Not totally time to panic yet, but, there is reason for concern IMO.
