Can I do 2 minutes of Stand up?
I got a 2 song gig tonight during a variet show that my friend Joel is putting on at the Apollo Playhouse.

The variety show has a lot of comedy and is usually pretty funny, if anyone wants to come out. I'm just doing a couple of covers, no big deal.
I don't know what cover is, but it's probably like 5 bucks.
Can I do 2 minutes of Stand up?
Dude this is one of a short notice.... Will you do it again next week? we can have a mini gtg... I have only smoke if anyone wants to give me a ride, this sounds cool...

Oh, , i forgot to put the time, it's at 8.
So how'd it go?
Badly. I missed a bunch of chords due to nervousness, but it was fun.
The rest of the show was pretty awesome and funny though.
It did not go badly; Manny's a liar. The vocals were great and the guitar slip-ups were miniscule.
But hey, that'll teach him to drink before a performance - I offered to get the boy cheap wine but nooooooo.
I've got to see this.
Next time I'll drink to take the edge off. I wasn't feeling nervous untill I got up on stage and started. Also, I didn't have my guitar strap with me so I had to sit and the mic ended up a bit too far from my face.
Tuesday night is open mic night at the Flying Saucer, and the guy who runs it performed last night at the show. I was invited out, so I may be out there on Tuesday. I may wait some more though.
The other guys performing did some origionals and I'd love to take my music out, but I'm not comfortable with it enough to play it for people. But I'd rather do that eventually.
