UTSA thread!
in the nation in steals per game, 3.7 per game........leader is at 3.8.
but sometimes he takes too many chances, especially early in the game...i think that's how he gets in to early foul trouble...that's been one of his downfalls this season...
...how awesome would it be for him to lead the nation in steals for consecutive seasons!
maybe that would get him some more run! KSAT showed some highlights the other day but butchered travis' name and didn't even mention he was player of the week
back to devin...definitely see him in the nbdl
he's now 1st

Steals
STL/G
1. Devin Gibson
(UTSA) 3.7
2. Chavis Holmes
(Virginia Military) 3.6
3. Tywain McKee
(Coppin State) 3.2
4. Jeremy Lin
(Harvard) 3.1
5. Devan Downey
(South Carolina) 3.0
Thats pretty impressive............with over 300 D1 schools and over 4,000 players. Damn.
Man, he swiped the rock from M Haynes like a kid in crunch time to get a break away lay up. Don't remember if that was in the 1st OT or at the end of regulation.
He was sticking with Haynes when he was guarding him, STEP FOR STEP! Haynes was a big time recruit, NATIONAL TOP 150 who played in all 32 games at BC as a freshman!
A loss is a loss, but damn the team showed grit & determination.
i think it was the end of regulation before the 4pt play possession...it was under a minute to go and it either tied the game or brought it to within a bucket...
...either way UTSA needed a stop badly and dude just ripped it and scored an easy lay up, pretty bad ass
He may go back to back as the national leaders in steals. Has anyone ever done that before?
