The same parker that was NBA finals MVP two seasons ago? He's not good enough?
Tony Parker: 21.3 ppg / 50.2 FG % / 40 % 3P % / 81.5 FT %
6.7 ass (a lot of them for 3 pts shots)
Clutch time stats : 57 % FG (tim: 48 %, manu: 33 %, mason: 50 % , finley: 33 %)
Net Production by position for the spurs :
PG: + 7.8 pts / +4.1 in PER
SG: - 0.3 pts / -1.1 in PER
SF: -3.1 pts / -2.5 in PER
PF: -3.9 pts / -0.2 in PER
C: + 2.7 pts / + 1.8 in PER
if he's not right now, i'm afraid he'll never be.

Tony Parker's numbers are really good this season. He'll be a well deserved all star. But I'm really worried about his defensive effort. He often gets owned by his man this season.
Hopefully, coming playoff time, we'll see significant improvement
Tony will never be a defensive force. he has sometimes seemed a bit lazy on defense, true. he can do better and usually does come PO time. when he does, he's a more than decent defensor.
but the net production by position does include the opponent offensive production of course. and PG is still the strongest position, by far, for the spurs.
iverson for TP?![]()
Will that help us this year?
there's always 5-6 tony threads after a loss.
but this one is not for bashing him though![]()
Same crap, different thread.
