I thought the win against LAL was a confidence builder? I thought the Spurs were gonna ride a wave of momentum and overtake LAL?

Not that I enjoy the loss whatsoever, but the Sixers are actually far from the pathetic team that you portray them to be (at least recently). They now have a six game winning streak with four of the wins coming against Houston, Atlanta, Portland, and now San Antonio.

I didn't have the opportunity to watch the game, but I'm sure that the biggest problem during the game was the tendency of the Spurs to play either up or down to the level of their opponents. This drives me INSANEand has cost us many times before - but just as I didn't get too excited over the win vs. the Lakers the other night, I won't lose too much sleep over a January loss.
Spurs do not give a about the Lakers win. Just another day at the office. They do not "ride the wave"..act like you have been here before.
I simply hadn't replied to this topic because I had said my piece on the Spurs section. No need to repeat myself here.

I don't know what you Laker freaks think the last game was, but we're not some young team that thinks that win against the Lakers was some gigantic win. It was just another win in a game where we didn't really play that well defensively. Should have won by more.
Lakers are a very good team so they made us work hard for the win. Spurs were awful tonight. Whether it was the Lakers that tired us out or the Spurs having a mental letdown I don't know. I'm not happy with tonight's effort though I can tell you that. The defense is putrid.
I'd love to see the Lakers in the same situation having to play 17 out of the next 23 on the road following the Spurs game to see how they respond.
