sequspur is a suns fan I think, he otherwise shouldn't have started such a thread that doesn't make any sense to anyteam but suns.

This is no way near stupid as some of the other here regarding trades. Timmy aint got a whole lot of seasons left so it would be nice if we could use them as best as possible.
Loosing Manu would suck, but times have changed after the Gasol trade. Come playoffs we are gonna get raped in the paint by the Lakers bigtime, without a doubt. We all know it.
And Shaq? He probably wouldnt be more motivated to give it his all on any other team. Specially against the Lakers. With Shaq- Timmy frontcourt we would more then matchup there with anyone. Both those guys create their own shots, have good hands and would command constant double teaming. We would look significantly better defensivly with them, and would get loads of open looks for our only-jumpshooting-no driving backcourt ( cept tony that is) on offensive end. So i dont get why this idea is so bad.
I like Manu unlike some people here, i think he brings a load to this team, but this is all about bussines. Dont "know" if this trade would make us better, but it might. Treating this like its the worst idea you ever heard =

How much does he make? Cuz the Big 3, Mason, Hill, Bowen, Ian, and Tiago are off limits imo. Bonner, Ime, JV, Fab, and Kurt can bounce. Course I would only want him for a year so the Spurs could resign him for cheap. A Duncan frontcourt with Shaq would be deadly. He'd be the the backup center against teams without 2 solid bigs, but he'd start against the Lakers or Portland.
