    I don't understand the issue that the Spurs losing specifically affects the Blazers seeding, or something. If there's some issue other than Blazer fans being bored and insecure, I'm curious what it is.

    I like the argument Stomp made on behalf of the Spurs.......it made a lot of sense. He only forgot to mention one other part. Flying West to East, you lose an hour with each timezone you pass. If you leave Oakland at midnight and it takes an hour to fly to Denver, it is 2 am when you land. In this instance, the Spurs didnt get into Denver until 3:30 am.


    Now, IMO, the NBA could have handled it differently. Had they reversed the games, having Denver first and GS second. I think it would have been more feasible for the Big 3, or at least everyone but Manu, to play. Going East to West, you gain time. If you leave Denver at midnight, and it takes an hour to get to Oakland, then you get to Oakland at midnight.
