Rockets lost both of the two road games to tie the series at 2-2 with . Then each them won one game at home to put this series to the 7th game, which was to be played at toyota center in houston. Both of the teams had won all their 3 home games, so the rockets fans and even the fans all thought the rockets had a larger chance to survive this series. Rockets fans were all unpresidentedly hopeful for their first "seacond round trip" in this decade, even Olajuwon attended that game in toyota center. Dream had had grudge with Rockets' organizing officers since they banished him.
Not only the rockets, but also any other team in NBA can't stand the traditional dirty defense of the Utah team, Bruce Bowen and Raja Bell are the world's most clean defenders compared to those Utah players. players are all capable to play football where they won't call for a foul even when they kick their opponents' nuts. I mean, even the boxing games are too gentle and clean for those players to join. I'm not a rockets fan but Utah doesn't deserve anyone's respect. Who the F would believe the without Boozer/ak 4f**king7 could defeat one of the league's best teams. Houstons rockets would won that series if those 3 Utah games were played elsewhere, or even all the 7games were played in another city other than Salt Lake city and Houston. Dirk was made to look like a kid by Paul Millsap who also made 14 pts tonight, but Paul used only 10shots which are just as half as those dirk used. Dirk grabed 6 rebs but still lost 4 d rebs to millsap who got 10 in total. I'm not blaming someone to the lose but Dirk's performances were really as bad as he could be. It was a back to back game so it's hard to keep himself outta fatigue, especially to the Utah evil nest. Dirk should have shared his shots with other teammates who had better FG rate. I mean, he should share more shots to dampier to make him look a little bit more like a line-up.
Jason Kidd:

Kidd used to look like a superstar when he was playing for nets, but he has looked more like a common PG who earns 5-6m per year since he joined Mavs. I have never thought Kidd is the problem with our team, even when he sucks, at least Kidd has never and will never waste a bunch of shots yet gets 14pts.
Josh Howard:

Josh played bad in offense, only hit 7 field goals with 18 shots, but his 18pts was still team high. 's Brewer got 17pts yet just used 13shots, and played 8mins more than him.

Terry was still the most consistant guy on our team, consistantly mediocre. He still got the points he should got but he had done little to help his teammates score...

Dampier was perfect at FG tonight, but he just made two shots. Like most of other center, dampier can't create shots for himself so he needs his teammates to pass the ball to him when he is in the right position, but his teammates seldom pass the ball to him even when he's wide open. His teammates, of all the mavs fans, know he can still not hit the goal even when there's no defense on him.
Antonie Wright:

Antonie played a big game last night, so it's forgivable to suck tonight. He is the only line-up than didn't score in this game. 's five line-ups all got double digits, though our bench players played way better than theirs. Despite the 4shots he wasted, he was simply ignorable according to his stats.
Jose Juan Barea

Barea played pretty good offensively though his FG% was below 1/2. 5ast showed he had done more than scoring himself.

ALL of our active played some minutes tonight, that's the only thing we were pleased to see. though they played no minute before the garbage time came.

After a tough game with POR the night before, the whole team just looked worn down.
Utah isn't an easy place to win either.
This game must've really sucked for you Mavs fans. The Mavs looked like a D-league team but even D-leaguers will show hustle and play tough especially if their compe ion is doing the same.
If the Mavs and the Jazz even make it to the playoffs and face eachother, its another quick exit for Dallas. The Jazz didn't even have their best defensive player on the court (AK-47) or the skilled Boozer.
