Movie Review: Take the Lead

Just got back from seeing it. First off, Antonio Banderas is HOT, HOT, HOT. I don't know what he's doing with that Melanie Griffith chick.

Anyways, it was an ok movie, I'd give it a 7 out of 10. It was a bit too long, over 2 hours I believe. However, the idea of inner city high school kids (including of course the stereotypical wigger and "ghetto" Chinese kid) learning the art of ballroom dancing in detention had it's funny moments.

I don't know any guy who would want to see it, thank god my I didn't make my boyfriend take me, he'd never have forgiven me. Overall, it might be fun to go with your girlfriends or with your teenage daughters. The only reason we ended up going to see it was because Inside Man was sold out.
