This is a joke, right?
If this MAnu injury is true then Tim Duncan NOT TONY PARKER...Needs to step his game up and ing play like there is no tomorrow.
He is one of the best players ever, but I think he has grown used to taking a tiny back seat to Tony and Manu. that . Time to carry this team on your back!
This is a joke, right?
If Ginobili is done, then nothing Duncan nor Parker without a trade can be done.
Theres not enough.
+1 Now we really need Carter or Jefferson.
you are talking about the man with the highest production average on the team, right?
So not only should he be the only player worth a damn on defense, he should carry the entire offense for the remainder of 2009.
Anything else? Maybe he has experience with credits and debits?
you really think either one could take us over the Lakers? don't think so.
I say if Manu can come back next year. Everyone save their gas for 2010.
The Spurs don't draw big names into San Antonio.
you're stupid. Duncan has been taking the SPurs on his back all season. We have the #2 seed in the West because of Duncan.![]()
WTF??????????
This thread is a freaking joke. Tim should ask for a trade so you can watch a lottery team.
I'd say if they can't get a Vince Carter type, you might start considering blowing the whole thing up.
It would be worth a try because the season is over without a healthy Manu. If no trade is made...time to Tank and hope the lottery balls go our way again.
Errr you mean like he has been doing when Parker and Manu were out? Or like he did last night. Timmy will play his heart out but just like last night reality shows that it just it's not enough.
At least we should try...With no new player, we can kiss our ass goodbye.
Tim for the whole New Jersey team.
Well if Manu's out, now it only leaves Tony and now Tim to be mad at all the time.
Lazy bas should learn to levitate, too.
The guy can't eve jump!! Trade his ass.
No kidding. The OP needs to step away from the crack pipe.
jesus in' christ![]()
did you not watch the game last night?
Duncan manned up, took the ball and found ways to get the ball in the hoop.
Parker missed layups, went 5-20 and his counterpart went off for 30+.
If the Manu injury is true, then honestly one of the other Spurs like Finley or Mason will have to step up......
honestly, if Manu is done and don't get a big by the deadline, there's just not enough to fill the holes to win a le.
Duncan carried us to a 5-2 record with Roger Mason as his 2nd best player, and I don't even know who as the 2nd best player..speaks volumes..
he's led us to 4 les..he was carrying us on his back with little help(compared to other elite teams at the time) in the early 2000's until 2004 or 2005, when Manu and Tony emerged..
Duncan WILL step his game up, we all know that..it would be different if it was 2003 Duncan, but he's going to be 33..while he's still an elite player, you can't expect him to carry us to a le without Manu..
with Carter..we aren't good enough to beat LA in a 7-game series, but at least we would have a chance..if your shooters get hot, you never know..without him, there isn't really a hope of beating them..
Why not? We're capable of winning championships.
Wow; that's almost as good a take as your Clippers playoff predictions.![]()
