he hasnt been himself since calling out rondo.......
After disappointing performances vs. less heralded PGs Ukic and Robinson, I hope Parker is ready to face Barea. IMO, the Parker interview re top PGs in the NBA where he ranked himself pretty high has served as motivation for other PGs to prove themselves vs. the Frenchman. I'm pretty sure Parker will have his crack at stopping Barea.. worst case is Pop puts Bowen on JJB if Parker can't handle it. As for the game, I can only hope this one matches the intensity and high quality the last time the 2 teams met. That 2OT win was a classic.
he hasnt been himself since calling out rondo.......
no one can stop barea when he is hot, but he doesn't need any stop to suck when he sucks. Parker played pretty bad recently while manu is sidelined and very likely to miss the rest of regular season and postseason, spurs really need parker to return to the condition he played at the start of this season.
Barea says mutha Parker and mutha Hill.
Just one more...![]()
That brings up a interesting point. Parker is without question overrated. He is playing with the best player since Jordan in Duncan. My opinion, so Spew fans STFU is that Parker is average. Barea is average. They really have the same game except Barea can shoot the 3. Switch out Barea for Parker not one thing would change for the Spews. Barea might even have married that desperate housewife.
With the way Parker has been getting beat defensively lately, I don't think he's even ready to guard JV in practice.
tony is overrated for sure, i mean yeah he's having a great season but he was just shooting some shoots and making some passes, any player can do that.
February is THE month where you can truly judge a player's level, so he definitely sucks in my opinion.![]()

I am sure the Houston Rockets couldn't find a way to use an overrated PG like Parker.
Just a mini slump, Tony will be fine, but he sometimes seems to play down to the level of the compe ion, which I am sure for Pop is frustrating.
Parker has 3 rings and is a Finals MVP. Last time I saw Barea he was choking the game away against Houston.
Can Barea handle Parker? Plus, I remember Bowen guarding Barea after he got hot and Barea all but disappearing from the game.
Barea is still looking for a ring...Smiegal has it.
A Rockets fan calling a Spurs player overrated?
*cough*McGrady*cough*
When you can't think of anything relevant, bring up rings
Spurfan stock response.
When jealous of said rings, insult the rings.
Standard Mavfan response![]()
Haha, weak response. If your team ever realizes the ultimate goal, then you'll understand. Ultimately, a player is judged by his ability to catch the big prize. Duncan would never have been considered "the best power forward to ever play the game" if he hadn't already won 4 rings. You're an idiot.
As to Parker, I have no idea what's up with him, but it seems like something may be going on in his personal life. My job is to study and react to human behavior and it seems to me that something stressful is happening at home and is sapping his strength. All of his "floaters" have been short and his jumpers have been long, demonstrating that he's feeling a little lethargic. Of course, his version of lethargy is still 100mph, he just can't seem to finish the way he has been. He'll be fine though once someone tells him Eva really isn't cheating on him, that it's just a show. They're just pretending, Tony, make believe.
Yeah, because that post displayed all kinds of jealousy.
You're ing stupid and extremely overweight. Terrible combination.
Rings are extremely relevant to tuesday's game, yes?
Stupid? Maybe.
Overweight?
Not anymore
You need better, more intelligent, pithy and more recent insults.
Thank you!![]()
yes, earning them requires playing deep into the postseason, which is essentially extra practice time. Practice time that your guys have not had. It helps your team refine their techniques, it allows them to ferment and become a fragrant vintage merlot.
Also, you're .
I love how this guy consistently writes with some type of assumed importance.
It's comical, yet puzzling.
