props for the big start by tp

he wanted to prove to people that he is a great player

sure it helps that duncan and manu play with him
    but he is a superstar

he just is glad he plays with the manu and duncan

he could be one a team like kg had and no playoff success

Major props for the team tonight.

Guys stepped up with Duncan and Ginobli out.

The Mavs are not the team they once were but they still give us trouble at times.

Kurt Thomas was great on defense.

And that block by Bowen on Dirk reminded me of game 5 of the 2006 wcsf

    Great game!
I love it when we hold our opponent below 80. This is so sweet.

He's one of the better Mavs fans, and unlike Ghazi he doesn't suck Dirk's atomic balls..

I admit I was a bit concerned as to whether the Spurs would be able to handle this team without Duncan. This was a complete and total team effort. Parker - fabulous. KT - awesome. Finley - very productive. Bowen - tenacious. Oberto - also productive.

Ditto. I thought the game would be closer without TD. Guess the guys were eager to show how much they'd missed home, lol.

TP's agressiveness in Q1 kept the Mavs from getting out to their much-desired 1st quarter lead.

The interior D was stellar. I was very impressed with Bonner's and Fab's D on Dirk. They both got all up into Dirk and really did a nice job of sticking to his inside shoulder & keeping him from turning into the lane. Their doubling from the weakside on Dirk when he got the ball near the baseline was fantastic. It was very similar to the Tayshawn Prince trapping strategy.

Major props for the Bigs tonight with their agressive D, shutting down transitions, and their hungry rebounding.

    that's a good take..

I didn't get to see most of the game, but I can't tell you how many times the spurs don't double enough on other teams star players...

i hate fricking dirk. his gay fadeaway from the freethrow line makes me want to throw up.

That is still disgusting. And if only KT and Fab(I loved to see him getting his easy layups like last year and 07) would play like this against LA in the POs, I wouldn't be so worried.
