The most disappointing game of the season, imo. No one showed up, but Lamar.

The sad part is....you lost to the Nuggets by a wider margin missing ONLY Bynum than the Spurs did missing Duncan, Ginobili, Parker, and Finley, lol.

it took a catastrophic game by the lakers to keep it within 10. meh not a big deal. more of a product of a back to back than amazing defense.

There was some good defensive plays by the Nugs in the 4th. Basically all of the Lakers shots were swatted at, contested. Some very amateurish reffing on top of that. And on top of that just some piss poor shooting by the Lakers. I don't blame Kobe for jacking up shots. Nobody else was bringing much except Lamar.
71-11 will still get the Lakers the 2nd best recorrd of all time.
Lakers shouldn't worry about this loss. a b2b @ Denver is a scheduled loss and less than 30% shooting is an aberration.
Quite frankly nothing from this point on in the regular season should concern the Lakers, other than injury developments or a 5-6 game losing streak.
They could lose their next 2 games, and it really wouldn't mean anything. But of course, as it custom among NBA fans on message boards, people will suggest they're running out of gas, slumping, in trouble, etc. Not really though, they're 49-11 for a reason, and on pace for 67 wins for a reason.
Just wait and watch the lakers destroy phx on Sunday.
