    Geez...someone gets 3 dunks at the end of a blowout against the opponents scrubs and some people think he is the second coming. Put down the pipe, take off the rose-colored glasses, and pull your head out of Pops' ass. At best Pops, with a full training camp and hard work, would be a minor role player for the Spurs. IF he can develop at 15 to 18 foot jump shot and learn the defense he could develop into a good ROLE PLAYER!!!

    I think you guys should listen to me. I thought Ginobili would be a star way before any of you losers did. I thought when I saw ginobili play in europe he would be a cross between jordan and pippen. I would say I was pretty close. Pops is going to be a star. mark my words

    We never saw of enough of Pops to say whether he was going to be great or suck. I wish coach had played him earlier in our blowouts so we'd have a better sense of who he was as a player. Doesn't matter now.

    Pops can't play in the playoffs if he was on another team's roster after March 1 -- which will be the case. No risk there. Hopefully he will join SA in camp before next season.

    He's not going to be eligible for the POs, sometimes people need to learn how the NBA system works before posting useless threads like these.
    But, if the Lakers pick him up for next season then....it still is irrelevant. There's a reason why he's a D-leaguer.
