Nash and Shaq are both way over on the wrong side of 30. Amare is damaged goods.
I'm not sure the Suns could get that much for those three, although the number of stupid GMs in this league can never be underestimated.
All of their 3 best players have good or decent trade value and there is no way this team is going anywhere in the playoffs. (even if they would all be 100% healthy)
They could get a crazy amount of talent and young players for Shaq, Nash and Amare.
Shaq prooved he is anything but done despite his years.
Nash is damn overrated and will surely draw interest from some stupid GMs.
Amare is damn talented... Maybe even one of the top 3 most talented players in the league but he is a bonehead and completely unfit to be a leader of a team.
This team needs to be blown up and if Kerr doesnt do it (even if he keeps 2/3 of these players) he is re ed beyond repair.
Agree?

It's not Kerr's fault this team hasn't been blown up yet, it's 100% Sarver's fault. Sarver's goal is to keep this team under the luxury tax threshold but make sure he's still got the "run and suck" marketing campaign going on w/ a 45-50 win team drawing in the dumb Nash and Amare groupies.
Shaq is probably going to be traded because all the stupid run and suck fans hate him for no reason and are content with crap 50 win all offense no defense teams.
If Kerr really had complete control and had permission to blow it up, the guy would have done so already. He knows a team led by Amare and Nash will never win a championship.
So yeah, would anyone with half a brain know blowing the entire thing up and getting back to basics is the best thing to do? Yes, but Sarver's goal is to fill the seats for another 3-4 years before selling the team.
Who would trade young players for Shaq or Nash though? The Suns said Nash was the only player they weren't going to trade... a mistake? But Amare probably should have been traded. I don't see a bright future for the Suns at all.
Yep. The Suns have problems, no doubt about it.
Stupid piece of suck should just blow up that team while you can.
enjoy it while you can, I just suggest you pray the spurs won't be shaven too badly when facing the lakers in post season.
suns are the only hope for the spurs. for sure spurs expect the suns to replace our guys in blue to face the lakers in the first round and demolish them. among all the western teams only suns have a little chance to beat lakers in the playoffs. and our guys in blue would also recieve a lottery draft if we happened to miss the playoffs this season eventually, but that'll never come true.
if only hornets or rockets or blazers get biten by a bad injury on their franchise player and fall straightly to the lottery to clear the 8th place for suns, then our beloved guys in blue will give fans the texas derby show with the spurs in the first round.
It's a shame it had to end like this for our beloved Mavs and the Suns.
Mavs were slain by bull shots and horse officiating.
Suns were slain by a technicality and a cheap owner.
Joetrait75- "The number of stupid GMs in this league can never be underestimated."- Very true words.
