Wrong, Jazz are 4th.
2. Spurs 42-20
3. Rockets 41-23
4. Hornets 39-22
5. Jazz 40-23
6. Blazers 39-23
7. Nuggets 40-24
8. Mavs 38-25
9. Suns 34-29
Tomorrow's matchups
Hornets at Hawks (35-28) Each cities biggest rival in the NFL.
Rockets at Nuggets. Must win for Denver. Big steal for Houston
Lakers (50-12) at Blazers.
Wrong, Jazz are 4th.
Spurs - Nuggetz in the 1st round, with a game 1 loss, would be perfect for us
True, but Hornets would have home-court advantage since technically they have a higher winning percentage. It's all about the big picture.
The Hornets are still the 5 seed. Put them where they belong.
4 seed, 5 seed...doesn't matter. Utah would destroy NO in the first round. I'd love to see this series, or lack there of.
i want mavs to get 8th so they can upset the lakers.
IMHO the suns would upset the lakers not the mavs
it's like George Carlin said: "The problem with stupid people is that they don't know they're stupid."
that would be most ideal for the spurs =D
Idk why that's so dumb, the Suns would have a better chance at upsetting LA than Dallas. Neither team would do it, but if someone put a gun to my head and said the only way I would live is if LA is upset in the 1st round, I'd want the 8th seed to be Phoenix. I'd also want Nash to have a torn ACL but that's a different issue.
I was going to say Utah catches SA except they have 12 of their last 19 on the road.
So they'll go 7-12 courtesy of Steve Javie and co.
Utah, with so many road games left, will stay in the 4th-5th range. It would be perfect for us if New Orleans and Utah end up 4 and 5.
Assuming Utah wins that series. New Orleans is horrible against LA.
You're right. If we get the Lakers, I wouldn't wonder about getting shoved by the most impressive blowout ever within the playoffs. We can't handle Kobe, that's a fact. There is not one single position within the Lakers' game in which they're weak and we're strong. Moreover, Stern would never allow the refs to "favor" us over the Lakers, never happen. He can't stand Cuban, that's a fact and well known to every NBA-fan, regardless of his/her origin.
Or Albert Einstein: "Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the former."
Stern would never allow the refs to favor any team over the Lakers.
