Eletronics - Gadgets (Poll)

This is a pool for a college work, I would apreciate if any of you could help me.

A teacher asked us to develop a product, made from aluminium, that could be useful in our homes. So I'm thinking about making an object to storage all the gadgets (portable eletronic devices) and acessories. And I plan to make it in a way that it would help to organize everything and also help when it's time to recharge their batteries.

So, the questions are:

1) How many gadgets do you own (cell phones, digital cameras, MP3 players, etc)?

2) In which part of the house do you keep them (bedroom, living room, etc)?

3) Do you have a specific place where you keep them (over the table, in a box, etc)?

4) Would you find it useful to keep them together and organized?

I wish all things by law would require the same damn plug input to charge them as not to have so many damn chargers around. Make it universal.

i read something somewhere that they wanted to do that for cell phones... da proprietary bull .

That would be great, it's always a pain in the ass when you're on a trip and you forget your cell charger and you need someone to have the same ing phone...it's re ed.

Why aluminum?

Yes, something like that. I never saw a product like that around here.
It has to be in aluminum because for every work we make there, we use a specific material. And this was the material that our teacher requested this time.

I read that too. But I read it's not really obligatory and Apple probably will stay out of it.
