You're crazy if you think LA was better last year. Pau has been great all season, and Ariza has been awesome possum. The only person playing worse is Sasha. Farmar blew chunks for almost all of last season too.

Maybe here you don't but I have to deal with everybody at work. A lot of them think they have a shot. IMO every team that makes it in to the playoffs has a shot, but some have a bigger shot over the others I.E. Lakers over the Spurs.
I agree they aren't worse, but Turiaf was important for them off the bench last year, and Farmar is worse. He's shooting 40% this year and shot 46% last year, maybe I'm wrong but I don't remember his D being ass crappy last year.
So basically they aren't a worse team, but if it turns out Bynum is done for the year, then they aren't a whole lot better.

The Lakers have been bad the last 10 games or so. Just haven't really had a team to beat them until the Hawks.
Worst decision by Phil was to start Ariza, it's gone downhill since. First Odom, then Ariza got taken off the bench. Lakers need 2 guys to go back to the bench out of Bynum/Odom/Ariza.
