I've heard this before..apparently House isn't the only one who thinks this. I've never had the "privilege" of listening to them before..guess that's my luck.
No. I watched my first C's telecast of the year tonight. That 4th quarter just about killed me. Barrett and Rice suck balls and I can't believe LP isn't going with LA's telecast, but no, they're not worse than Heinsohn.
What do you expect, it is Portland. Good thing we have either TNT and ESPN during the playoffs. Not the best but its better than these two fools.
they consider anything to the blazers a foul and whatever they do is just basketball. it would be best to listen to the lakers announcers. they call out the fouls on the lakers. just cause you are FSN oregon doesnt mean you are supposed to be a super homer
At least Heinson doesn't pretend he's being unbiased. He flat out admits his homerism and you can expect every word out of his mouth to be trash.
Lucky you are, indeed! I hope you never get a chance of hearing them. I have the game in mute right now. Plus dish networks LP audio sucks anyways. Does anybody else has this problem where the audio is way too low!
I have Dish and there will be vast differences in volume between games, but I don't have a widespread problem where every game's audio feed is way too quiet.
I've watched other games on LP and there's little difference on audio, but tonights broadcast is ridicolous. Good thing I have sorround sound in the living room but I'm staying in my bedroom cause I don't want to hear those guys.
Do Blazer fans actually like this kind of level of homerism? I know in the midwest and the east they eat this up, but i thought west coast fans were smarter than that.
Never..I'll put that on mute and put on WOAI if the Spurs are playing them in Portland...lol...glad I'm local..I can watch every Spurs game...
both are bad but the color commentator is the biggest homer this side of Tommy H. of the C's...he thinks Sergio Rodriguez is the next Pistol Pete
Barrett is a boner but Mike Rice is funnier than . Remember he got kicked out of a game back in the 90's by Steve Javie.
Not FSN announcers, Comcast has the Blazers rights although this game is being shown on the local NBC station.
Those announcers are damn pathetic.
Can't disagree with this.. barret isn't too bad, rice is the one that is.. believe it or not he's actually gotten a little better haha... but boston was really bad imo and chicago I think.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I completely agree with House on this. Those guys made me want to slit my wrists just so I could avoid having to listen to any more of their homer bull .
Any team which employs Fred McLeod (currently Cleveland, previously Detroit) earns this distinction.
Boston is in second. Houston's god-awful mentally re ed hicks are in third.
No way. Celtics have the most biased, Kings have the most boring.

^^^ Disagree. Sean is bad. He tells it like he thinks even though replays prove him wrong time after time. Land is ok, but he sounds like he's having an orgasm after TP drives down the lane and finishes something out of nothing.
