So I'm sitting here watching the Spurs/Rockets game and they show a Dr Pepper commercial. I had not seen this commercial before until just a few minutes ago.
It's great!
They show a guy doing things for his girlfriend (buying tampons, doing laundry..etc) and playing Meatloaf's "I will do anything" song. Then they show the guy and the girl on a sofa and the guy has a Dr Pepper in his right hand. The girl takes it from his hand-- and he takes it back and leaves.
The final scene...they show him walking down the street and the girl is on the front sidewalk possibly pleading...
I love it..
Leave my Dr Pepper and/or Big Red alone!

then leaves.
When I hear/read people make this statement, makes me wonder just exactly how much fecal matter they've eaten in their lifetime that allows them to recognize the taste...
For those of you who don't think DP tastes like and/or haven't actually eaten , I highly recommend you visit the Dr Pepper Museum in Waco. It's worth the drive (100 miles from where I live in Austin) just to buy a few cases of Dublin Dr Pepper. This is the original formula with Texas Pure Cane Sugar. The last time I visited I spent about $200 on t-shirts and 5 cases of DP. Too much sugar I guess.
I didn't realize until a few months ago that they still make Mr. Pibb!
Make it? That's what I have to drink when I go to Chammps.
I've always thought Dublin Dr. Pepper was overrated. Too much aftertaste.
Mountain Dew trumps them all though.

The DP bottler in Temple produces Pure Cane Sugar DP also. I found it at a Mini Mart in Kerrville.
Of course you could always make a run for the border, where ALL of the sodas are made with REAL FREAKING SUGAR!
