- Trading the draft rights to James Worthy for Don Ford
- Having an owner that single-handedly turned the Mavericks into a viable NBA team at the expense of the future of our own franchise ("I don't like to leave my office for lunch; I might miss a call from Cleveland" - Motta)
- Trading the draft rights to Charles Oakley for the draft rights to Keith Lee
- Trading Ron Harper for Danny Ferry
- Drafting John Morton instead of Vlade Divac
- Moving out of the Richfield Coliseum
- Drafting Bob Sura instead of Michael Finley
- Drafting DeSagana Diop instead of Joe Johnson
- Drafting Luke Jackson instead of Jameer Nelson
- Believing a word that came out of Carlos Boozer's mouth
- Trading two first-round picks for Jiri Welsch
Etc, etc, etc
Trading Caron Butler for Kwame Brown.
Pickung Andrew Bynum over Danny Granger.
Kobe was pissed when they heard that Mitch had made this trade. But Kwame brought Gasol so I guess it ended well.
So far yes, but this should turn around.Picking Andrew Bynum over Danny Granger.
Alot of these were before my time....all Cavs?
Yep.
Of course, if you believe in Chaos Theory, had any one of these things not happened, we might not have LeBron right now.
Pretty ing good right now, but I don't think they win a championship in 2004. And, while they'd be a better team now, they wouldn't be championship contenders now either. As a Piston fan, I'm among many others that believe that it wasn't passing on Wade or Carmelo that was as much of a mistake than passing on Chris Bosh. Both Wade and Carmelo are better players, but Bosh helped addressed what the Pistons needed more then and now.
Oh, don't get me wrong. I wanted to get Chris Bosh in but his picture was too big.
Pistons would be ing awesome if they had picked up anybody BUT the Hulk.
Oh, and the Spurs picking Marcus ing Williams over Marc Gasol.
The Hornets letting Birdman and Brandon Bass go. JR Smith is an asshole, so letting him go wasn't so bad. That boy has some problems.
Dude post number 13 and still none of this? c'mon!

I thought this thread was about Jason Kidd and Devin Harris.
Not taking the Blazers offer of the #1 pick and Drexler for Sampson. (Jordan/Drexler/Hakeem = 13 rings?)
Trading Horry/Cassell for Barkley.
Letting Scottie "Quitten" Pippen wear a Rox uniform.
Trading away Richard Jefferson
Trading away Gay for Battier (which was probably the smart move)
Any Suns move in the last 5 years excluding Nash.
Houston picking Hakeem in 1984 instead of Jordan.
Portland picking Sam Bowie in 1984 instead of Jordan.
Portland picking Greg Oden.
Cleveland picking LeBron instead of Wade (Wade has a ring)
The teams that didn't draft Jordan when they could. 'Nuff said.
You beat me to it.
Damn.
For the Spurs, it's easily the 92 off-season:
1) Passing on a trade of Willie Anderson + Terry mings for Charles Barkley. TC blows out his knee in a pickup game that summer and is never the same, Barkley wins MVP, and closes down Hemisfair Arena in the playoffs.
2) Letting Rod Strickland walk for nothing, and replacing him with scrub-ass Vinny Del Negro.
Strickland / Dale Ellis / Elliott / Barkley / Robinson with Antoine Carr and AJ off the bench would have been nasty.

If the Cavs win a le this year, will you post the link to your webcam before you blow your head off so we can watch?
Thanks...
