he is probably the most interesting of the RFAs, just because it's pretty unlikely that the Bucks will/can match. they are already close to the threshold, but still need to re sign Sessions and Villanueva and 3 or 4 more players. and if I remember right, Iljasova didn't exactly win many hearts in Milwaukee.
however, he developed great in Europe this season, playing for one of the best Euro teams and playing the two top compe ions outside the NBA (Euroleague and Spanish league).
he showed that he can be a very versatile scorer and absolutely stood out as a rebounder.
considering he is only 21 (if this is true as some doubt), he should have tons of upside left.
he would be a pretty big risk of course, if the Spurs trow most of the MLE at him, but this would be the way to get him and prevent the Bucks from matching.
IMO this could be the gamble with the needed upside.
Tony+Splitter+Ilyasova might be a nice core for the future.
