I was out of town for a few days but a quick search showed no threads or info about this - so if one existed, please just delete/lock mine.
Today's May 09 Frank Erwin Center newsletter has a page about a Spurs/Thunder game at The Drum on October 20th in the "NBA Classic". Tickets "go on sale soon" and will start at $15.

When was the last time the Spurs played a game in Austin?
I went once back in the mid to late 90's, but I just don't remember when.
About freaking time. It probably took the Rockets' playing in McAllen to get them to do this.
Didn't the Cavs play a game in Columbus earlier this season?
I remember a game against... Boston maybe?... at OSU on ESPN towards the end of the preseason.
Most teams usually hit up college campuses or other smaller towns during preseason - I just don't remember the Spurs doing a local one in years. They've played some road preseason games in some smaller college campuses or cities recently.

that didn't occur to me. should be awesome, even though the Spurs apparently cannot beat the Thunder.
