First episode is out. Watching it right now. Few interesting points.
-Roach said he noticed IV marks on DLH's arms and told Manny to jump him right away cuz he just got rehydrated right before the fight. wow.
-Roach has an assistant trainer helping him out, Michael Moorer. Will this change things?

I was really surprised about the IV comment also. It makes sense though, DLH just looked lifeless in that fight.
I think Moorer will help more than hurt. He was a real cerebral fighter when he was heavyweight champ. Had it not been for a lucky punch by George Foreman, his legacy would be alot more positive...
I am really looking forward to this fight. I am a fan of both so it's win win for me. I would love to see Ricky win but I doubt it happens.
I would love to be able to find a pic of Manny is a Spurs jersey. He wore one to the ring when he fought here.
This is a hard fight for me to pick sides. I love both fighters. I almost feel like a Hatton win would redeem him for the Mayweather fight. I still feel that if the ref would have let Hatton fight Mayweather on the inside Hatton would have had a chance to win the fight.
No doubt that it will boil down to how the ref handles this bout. If Hatton comes in close to work Manny and the ref lets him work Pac is going to have his work cut out for him. If Hatton comes in close and the ref spends the entire evening seperating the two Pac wins no problem. I hope the ref lets Hatton work the inside, if he does, we'll really see what Pac is made of.
If Manny wins Mayweather has to fight him...he just has to.
im rooting for Pacquiao...cuz i wanna see him vs Mayweather.
It'll be a good fight...we're gonna have to see if Hatton can catch Manny. We're gonna see alot of good counter punching...you can tell from the 24/7 footage that Manny is learning some new Counter punchin tecniques.
+1 Manny/Mayweather would be insane.
Pacman is going to destroy Hatton. it's a bad matchup. Unless Maywaeather SR, does some serious training and making over Hatton's game.

I think it will be a much closer fight than alot of people are expecting. Eventhough Manny's speed is superior, I think Hatton's natural strength and crowding style will give him problems. Ricky loves to bulldog fighters into the ropes and work the body relentlessly, which is a style I don't recall seeing Manny have to deal with before. JMM, Oscar, Barrera and Morales were all counter punchers by the time Manny faced them. That said, I still think Manny's speed, conditioning and great chin will prevail...probably a TKO around the 10th or 11th after Hatton has lost some steam on his attack and Manny's combinations have taken over.
Think we could get a Vbookie on the fight?

I agree. This worked against Mayweather and it worked well only problem was the refs wouldn't allow it. If the refs let Hatton work inside its anybodies fight if the ref jumps in at any sign of a clinch Pac's gonna take this no problem.
Watching the weigh in. This gets me pumped.
If the pac-man loses, I'll be amazed.
