I can't find any reports (other than speculation), but ESPN.com currently has a poll asking "Should the Hornets have kept Byron Scott as head coach?". Perhaps I'm interpreting it incorrectly.

EDIT: After further digging, I noticed that the Hornets just committed to keeping him for the final year (thus preventing him from going to Sacramento). That is probably what the poll is referring to.

I read they announced they're keeping him for the rest of his contract at least. Surprising since it seems the team doesn't like him and kind of quit on him against Denver.
