He's definitely not the best. CP3 >> him by a mile, as well as Williams and Parker. He's number 4
Playing with Carmelo and Chauncey, Nuggests are already a very strong team
Anyone disagrees?

Maybe not the best talent, but probably plays the position better than any other point guard in the league.
Although, let's wait to see how he does in the next round where he's crumbled the previous three seasons.
Still a great player and a great guy. Congrats, Smooth.
Dudes
Look at the Pistons and look back at the Nuggest
You will probably know what i'm talking about
Billups is not the best PG but he is certainly on the clutchest PG's in the game today
Sons not the best but Chauncy is a beast a "natural" point guard. ive really never seen him not play his game or force the issue......PEACE
Not the best. But very good. And certainly the most successful... including Parker.
Well, he is obviously the opposite of AI
Jamstone disagreed with me when I said the trade was a disaster for the Pistons
I still don't think it was a disaster. They had their reasons and now they have their money, which is what it was about. Chauncey wasn't bringing DET to any other end than they met this year.
Reasons?
for Lebron 2010?
If it was for money, than I'm ok with it
But Jamstone firmly believed Iverson would lead them to the EC le
i guess butler and melo are the same thing right? cp3 has equal teammates right?
Top 5 PG
Don't know about being the best......but dude makes the team he plays for better ...that's a FACT.
@ Iverson....dude must be taken a serious ego hit right now and i cant wait to see all the low ball offers he gets this summer

I for one hated Billups starting in 2004, after he killed Kidd and the Nets. After this whole season I have to say I'm stupid I see why killed them now, they were just like Dallas those years and Billups team was better
Billups isn't the best, but he's top 5.
I'd like for you to find that post please.
I didn't think the trade was a disaster. But, I don't recall saying I firmly believed Iverson would lead them to the EC. In fact, I recall that I said even if the trade doesn't work out, it's a good one in terms of opening up cap space and financial flexibility in the upcoming seasons. Now, if you're going to claim something, I sure hope you have the post to back it up. I absolutely liked the trade when it happened. And, as far as the basketball part of the trade went, it was absolutely a horrible trade for the Pistons. Now go and find that post where I said Iverson would lead them to the EC le.
Well mainly that Detroit is one broke ass city. I know they're talking about landing a big signing (though I lol at the idea of LeBron leaving CLE for Detroit), but I don't buy it. We'll see how they do monetarily next year, but given the current/future economic climate, I'd expect that trade was more about staying somewhat financially solvent (or less insolvent) than it was about having money for a free agent.
But that's just a hunch. I haven't been following the situation all that closely. I'd suspect DET is going to be bleeding money next season though... and keeping Chauncey would have made it that much worse.
No. But disregarding the talent disparity, DEN was a joke for the past few years. A bunch of knuckleheaded dumbasses. So talent didn't really matter because DEN was wasting it until Chauncey got there and brought out the best in everyone.
And if I'm positive Paul could have done the same things Chauncey does with the ball, if not do them better, I highly doubt that he could have brought the ins utional maturation or shift in philosophy that Billups did; as Paul is a knuckleheaded dumbass himself.
not nearly as clutch as tp
I know on this board, ducks is more or less an equivalent for "mentally impaired"
But damn. Really? That dumb? It's Chauncey freaking "Mr. Big Shot" Billups. He's quite possibly the single most clutch player in the league. In fact forget possibly, it's been statistically proven.
Chauncey Billups is not nearly as clutch as TP? GMAFB
As strange as it sounds, I'm willing to put Chauncey in at #1 right now. Why?
Because he plays by far the best defense out of any PG in the top 5.
Tony plays decent to good defense, but is slightly undersized.
Deron plays good defense, but can be burned by a quick man at times.
Chris Paul plays good defense but makes WAY too many gambles to be considered a "solid" defensive player.
Chauncey is just awesome. He's the most well-rounded PG in the game.
II said this during Round one I would take Billups, and Dwill over CP3 everyday of the week and twice in the playoffs. Better clutch shooters great size/strength better individual defenders (cp3 is great help defender but gambles way too much for steals)
I say this time of year I'd say chauncey is the best, Dwill 2nd, and Parker 3rd ...CP3 Rondo and rose have more to prove ...but for the future i love Drose size athleticisim and defense ....Rondo's got great "D" I still dont trust his "O"
