We can get much better.
Tyson Chandler + filler for Manu. Both teams benefit. Hornets trying to clear the salary space and Manu's expiring contract is nice for them. Manu is too injury-prone that spurs can't afford him being down every big time to waste Duncan's remain years. Chandler is still a top 10 center in the NBA when healthy and Spurs finally have a good big to play with TD.
That must be some good stuff you're smokin' there. I thought I had just entered another dimension.
However, let's get realistic...we'll give you your choice of Vaughn, Udoka, Finley, and Thomas. We'll give you all 4 if you throw David West in on the deal.
Manu is an expiring contract next year, we can defenetily get better than Chandler if we want to trade him.
Chandler sucks, he's not good at all. It seems like the only time I see him score is from an alley oop from Paul.
He's a Hornets fan. It's obvious this won't help the Spurs.
I would take manu over a pick
to
hornets were going to trade chandler for nothing
Prince and Hamilton.
ok
hamilion old but his contract like?
I like prince but he is limited on the o
Only if that filler is CP3.![]()
I don't know how's his contract but I'm sure is bigger than Manus but if you add the others expiring contracts the Spurs have you can make it work.
Hornets won't get anything close to an All NBA/All Star guard for Chandler. They were too obviously salary dumping him at the deadline to try to play hardball now. , we might be front runners with two 50% guaranteed contracts (Bowen,Oberto) they can cut immediately and save $4M.
bowen and oberto for him
plus they would cut bowen
and spurs could pick him up again
NO! Chandler is alright but tapped out already, we know who he is and it's not that great to say the least. Manu is our heart as proven in the playoffs (Tim is the leader I know), we missed him and his finishing so much in the playoffs this year.
Manu for either Hamilton or Prince works straight up without fillers. Hamilton's contract is expiring as well, he plays the same position, and is only a few months younger. Not sure either team has much motivation to do that deal.
Prince is more than 2yrs younger, has two yrs left on his deal, and plays a position of need for the Spurs while helping the Pistons clear more space for 2010. There would seem to be something tangible there for both teams.
throw George Hill in and I'll do it
nope
mike finley
Hornets will be lucky if they can unload Chandler without giving up at least one first round pick. The Nuggets didn't get anything for Camby, but at least they didn't have to give up two first rounders like PHX did to get rid of KT's contract. Hornets fans shouldn't get their hopes up.
uhh yes please
id trade manu for considerations
We'll give you some basketballs and some water bottles for Chandler.
What's your deal with Manu?
Chandler >>>>> Camby & KT
