The Suns have received permission from the Spurs to speak with Dennis Lindsey about being their next GM on the condition they wait until after Thursday's draft, league sources said Tuesday.
Sources said owner Robert Sarver also hopes to talk to Boston Celtics GM Danny Ainge, former New Jersey Nets assistant GM Kiki Vandeweghe and former Portland Trail Blazers assistant GM Tom Penn.

this bs should all be after draft day, we dont want him drafting players we already lookin at
Take my wife, please.
That would be great to lose this bag to those bags. Lindsey should have been hung from his balls off the Tower of Americas for the Scola trade.
This should have happened two years ago.

Spurs’ Lindsey meets about Suns’ GM job
San Antonio Spurs assistant general manager Dennis Lindsey met with Phoenix Suns owner Robert Sarver on Monday to discuss the team’s GM vacancy, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.
Lindsey is the frontrunner for the position, sources said, but it’s unclear how enthusiastic he is
for a job that Sarver has shown an increasing desire to do himself. The owner’s financial straights were a primary reason why former Suns GM Steve Kerr left to return to television.
“I think Sarver wants to play Jerry Jones right now,” one GM said.
Former Philadelphia 76ers GM Billy King has also recently emerged as a candidate for the job, sources said.
Sources said Sarver isn’t in a rush to make the hire and that he’ll accompany coach Alvin Gentry to Los Angeles on Tuesday to make a final pitch to All-Star forward Amar’e Stoudemire(notes). Sarver has made clear to several people that he’ll run the free agency and trade front for the organization until Kerr’s successor is hired.
“He wants to be front and center right now,” one Western Conference executive said. “He wouldn’t let Kerr and Griff [former assistant GM David Griffin] do their jobs.”
Lindsey has been a highly regarded executive with the Spurs and Houston Rockets, and turned down the Minnesota GM job a year ago.
