After being let down by Watchmen, I'm cautious about being optimistic for other films this year.

I'm hoping Terminator and Star Trek are good, but I'll just wait and see.

I might be the least bit excited for this movie if it was directed by someone other than the guy who did Charlier's Angels Full Throttle.

Who knows though, maybe ill be pleasantly suprised.

That's how I feel. I hate that he's the Director, but i like Christian Bale as John Connor, and i can't help but get excited when i hear that Terminator music . But i won't be shocked if I was disappointed.

lol, watchmen played in the IMAX too. That was pretty dissapointing. IMAX just means itll have alot of big explosions and neat visuals. Doesn't guarantee a good movie.

I WANT the movie to be good, I'm just not getting my hopes up.

I often find that professional critics are rarely in tune with what I personally like, so I will see it for myself rather than trust Roger Ebert who has given a bad review on just about every movie that I have enjoyed.

I saw it on Monday and liked it a lot. It's not exactly an acting clinic, and the dialogue is a bit stale at times but as a whole it was much better than I thought it was going to be.

They have found a way to completely Disneytize the Terminator franchise. What an abomination. Visual effects in the movie were awesome but this franchise as a whole is done. I predict it having a solid opening weekend with a steeper than normal drop off in week 2.

I can't believe they went from a gritty violent Terminator one and two to this pile of mess. I won't give spoilers if you are a fan of the franchise you have to see it i guess to make your own decision but I was personally let down but not really surprised considering it was McG and some of the writers of The Cat Woman who wrote this mess.

Yeah I had heard this also. The word was they were taking the franchise down a whole new road. Maybe for a whole new set of movies.

The lead actor doesn't have even know the history of the franchise for Christ's sake.
