son I think you mean 22 points .... he only scored 22 legit points. the refs put him at the free throw line 19 times resulting in 15 FREEBIE points to help inflate his scoring numbers.
In an elimination game:
37 points (on 46% shooting)
17 in the fourth quarter
15 rebounds
12 assists
M-V-P

Really great performance by LBJ. Got his teammates involved early and completely took over in the fourth. Good job, LeBron.
Like when Kobe shot 17 to squeak out the win in game 3? Even if you don't count any of his points from free throws, he still had by far a better game than Kobe has EVER had in a must-win situation since becoming the #1 guy in LA.
LeBron did get some help, but superstars often do, especially at home.
What I don't get is why baseline bum has to bash Kobe. What's the point? LeBron played great. Has nothing to do with Kobe except you feel like you need to hate on him just because.
Because Kobe sucks in elimination games and Laker fans should see how a real superstar carries his team in a must-win.
That "real superstar" is about to get knocked out of the playoffs. BTW how is the fishing this time of year spur fan?
Kobe to LeBron and baseline bum: Take a note LeBron. My team is up 3-to-2 in the conference finals and your team is down 3-to-2 in the conference finals.
When Kobe had a cast like LeBron's the best he did was get knocked out in the first.
Yeah, with Gasol, Odom, and Bynum, all of whom would be the second best player on the Cavs. And Ariza, who'd be the Cavs third best player.
What did JamStone's fingers say to baseline bum's face?

I'm JamStone, .
Switch LeBron and Kobe and the Lakers beat Denver in 5 max.
You really are obsessed with Kobe aren't you? I see you poke shots at the guy in just about every thread you can. It's obvious your lashing out at him in response to some deep seeded anger you have. Seek professional help.
At the end of the day, Kobe's team is up 3-2 with HCA to close out the series. YOUR team is currently fishing and likely will never see the NBA Finals ever again in the near future. But go ahead and talk if it makes you feel better.
So what's Kobe been like in elimination games since taking over?
LeBron >> Kobe in a must-win.
hahaha wheres the part where CLE has blown three 20 point leads at home????
It will take HCA for kobe to close out a series.
Yeah, he looked great in those must-wins against the Pistons in 2006, the Spurs in 2007 and Boston in 2008.
Who would you rather have in a game with your back against the wall? Bryant or James?
You mean when he scored 45 on the Celtics in their arena in game 7? He did look pretty great in that must-win.![]()
Do you think any Laker fans care that LBJ is putting up better stats than Kobe?
that's precious kid.
All we care about is for LAL to get a ring. I laugh at morons like you who are so utterly obsessed with Kobe that your entire life revolves around seeing him fail. You have low self-esteem baseline.
LeBron doesn't have a lot of help. That's definitely true. But, I think you forget how bad Kobe's teammates were in 2005-06 and 2006-07.
Lamar Odom is a good player. The rest of the supporting cast that were in the regular rotation: Smush Parker, Luke Walton, Kwame Brown, Brian Cook, Chris Mihm, Maurice Evans, Vladimir Radmanovic. Smush, Walton, and Kwame were starters for much of those two years.
In the Western Conference.
At least LeBron has been given consistent three point shooting with his supporting cast. He's also been given tough big men who aren't afraid to bang. And, while they are older and not the same players they used to be, LeBron has teammates that have been all star talents and starters on great teams. Kobe's teammates those two years were neither talented nor experienced nor former winners. And again, in the Western Conference.
I'm a Spurs fan but I'm getting sick of that got's schtick too.
For me it's about how my team does. I really don't care about any one players stats or legacy... Well OK I care about legacies, but the team always comes first.
When I read that disgusting got freak baseline bum's inane bull about Kobe or LeBron, it just reminds me of some 12 year old Stone Cold Steve Austin fan talking on the Undertaker. He should go find a WWE forum, since he obviously likes the "good guy, bad guy" aspect of sports and not the game itself.
