Sounds like The Third won't be healthy until next year.
SPURS SIGN GLOVER TO A SECOND 10-DAY CONTRACT
- PLACE FORWARD LINTON JOHNSON III ON INJURED LIST -
SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Spurs today announced that they have signed guard Dion Glover to a second 10-day contract. The 6-5 guard signed his first 10-day contract with the Spurs on March 17. Glover, who is averaging 2.8 points and 1.8 rebounds in 10.2 minutes as a Spur, will be in uniform tonight against the Sonics.
Earlier today the Spurs placed forward Linton Johnson on the injured list with a left ankle injury. Johnson, who underwent surgery on 11/23 to repair a stress fracture, re-aggravated the injury yesterday and is expected to miss one-to-three weeks of action.

I think the spurs should sign Glover for the rest of the season.
If he plays well enough, they'll keep him.
Otherwise it's back to the drawing board and the minor leagues.
Did he really hurt it again, or is it just more plausible with LJ than left patella tendonitis?
I think he must be really hurt...
On the broadcast Elliott said Pop wasn't really pleased with Glover during the first 10 day contract...I don't think they would have given him a second chance unless it was an absolute necessity.
Props to Pop for picking up scrub play right off the bat this time instead of Anthony Carter revisited...I can live with them resinging him now, because they really had no choice...and he does seem to be playing less scrublike now.
Pretty sure it was the second game effort he was disappointed with.
Obviously he did enough to get the second chance.
Obviously he sucked the first time around.
He wouldn't be here again if that was the case the entire time. Go back and listen to the tape.Obviously he sucked the first time around.
Stop defending suck Chump.
There's obviously a reason he was given another 10 day and the several hundred candidates looking for NBA jobs didn't.
And there's obviously a reason this guy couldn't even keep a job in the Turkish leagues...or generate any NBA interest outside of SA.
As for you using the Spurs interest in him to claim he doesn't suck...um...The Spurs just traded for Nazr Mohammed...don't embarass yourself.
I am so on the G-Love bandwagon. The guy is agressive, quick, and will do just about anything Pop tells him to do. Glad to see he got resigned![]()
See, your bull claim was Pop said he sucked the entire time his first 10 day.
Back it up or shut the up.
Back it up?
Um there's a 5 page thread where you did nothing but talk yesterday and failed to back a single thing up...don't ever ask me to back anything up...
and learn to scroll..^^^ up..
Gonna go eat, I'll leave you here to split your hairs.
they should sign kirk penney to a 10 day contract, hes the man. or even give sato another chance
Yes. Or just admit you can't. I'm sure you have the game tape right there.Back it up?
And I'm still waiting for your suggestion for an alternative.
And be more specific than "that guy that other people like who doesn't play the position we're trying to fill at all."
As a matter of fact I do have the game recorded and still on my PC. Learn to scroll.
And your alternative?
Can't we just agree to disagree?![]()
