....Anyone have inside information? I remember at the end of the season there was a possibility he might opt for surgery. I was just wondering if anyone knew anything in regard of the injury that bothered him at the end of the year.

There's been nothing official released.
The possibility of surgery was the media, nothing about surgery being an option was ever said by Duncan or the Spurs.
The last official info was that he would rest and rehab over the summer. I expect his minutes to be carefully managed during the regular season to keep him as fresh as possible for the playoffs. I wouldn't be surprised if he sits out one game of most, if not all, back-to-backs this season.

If you are asking if his leg has been amputated, the answer is no

Word is that some special secret advanced medical technology will help Tim's feel fine this next season. Count on it. Tim ain't done yet!

word is Timmy has been hanging out with A-Roid...I see his knee problems as a thing of the past.....look for him to start the 09 season with a head the size of a medicine ball, a la Barry Bonds

I really want to believe this. But the one thing I do agree with you on is Tim is nowhere near done yet.
