I find the Finley hate on this board ing ridiculous. Dude averaged almost 10 a game last year and shot a career high from 3. I don't want to see him get serious run either this year, but I honestly think as a 12th man, Finley is a good guy.
If he can get spot minutes here and there i'm all for it, you need a few veterans to keep the rookies in check.
The Spurs should just forfeit the season. They're clearly doomed with Finley on the team.

Agreed. And yet he played more games than Ginobili last year and he's getting more hate. Doesn't hurt to have him as an option.
What's ridiculous is Finley's streaky, volume shooting, terrible defense, and brain-dead turnovers. If you think Pop is going to demote him to 12th man, you haven't been watching the Spurs very closely during Finley's tenure.
He is the best 12th man in the league

we're frustrated because we're use to seeing commanding defense and intelligent play
finley, bonner, mason, all these kickout shooters, we're tired of it. the spurs is synonymous in the NBA with tough defense, and when we see players sticking around that aren't bringing it thats why we're venting our frustration. and thats why most of us want bowen to come back.
as i said in prior threads, finley is fine if he's content with the 9th or 10th spot
The best 12th man that plays as the 5th man.
Maybe on another team, but not with Pop.
