Wes from Texas (Bachelorette)

So my wife watches every Bachelor/Bachelorette series, despite seasons of failure after failure between two people forced to commit after six weeks in unbelievably unrealistic settings.

I applauded the dude a few seasons back that decided not to get engaged to either of his final two girls...but now I have a new hero. The dude's name is Wes...from Texas. Apparently, the guy has made no secret of the fact that he is on the show for one reason only...to promote his band. He also told the other guys that he had a girlfriend.

What's the greatest...this dude made it to the final four before getting cut!

I'm glad that someone can make such a mockery of a show that makes such a mockery of real-world relationships. Of course, my wife will go on watching it...but I just thought I'd take a moment to enjoy this little piece of irony.
