Is it possible that the Spurs could get a hold of him? He seems to be preforming rather well in Orlando Summer league. I do not know much about how contracts work, that is why I am posting this.

What do you all think about this?

The Pacers, and I, think Granger, Brandon Rush, and Roy Hibbert are a of a building block. He isnt going anywhere.

Throw in whatever Hansborough can contribute, and yeah, they've got some pieces. Don't think they'll wow anyone, but they'll be good.

He was playing pretty well with Hansborough. Don't know if this is feasible or not.

They are not going to give him up when he showed some promise last year.

The better question might be: Do the Pacers like Hibbert and Hansborough (sp?) enough to use Foster and Murphy as trade bait for other pieces?

Hibbert is on his rookie contract. Still very much a project IMHO.

That said, he's a black guy playing for Larry Bird. So I'm sure the Spurs could get him for [s]a white guy[/s] somebody like Matt Bonner.

ps: you guys really need to add strikethrough to your BB Code

I like Hibbert a lot. I like HIbbert a lot because he's the only reason the Pacers might consider trading Jeff Foster to us.

i dont think theres anything in it for the pacers. they have a great young player that has potential. and they are a young team too, there arent in a hurry to win a championship or anything.

IMO, Hibbert will be similar to Mutombo, a defensive specialist, but less mobile.
