Can anyone still remember when this board was pestered by y Suns fans? Where are you now? LOL
just like the chupacabras I don't think there is such a thing as a Sun Fan anymore
lol nice find
That was pretty funny! It had me laughing!
Oh don't worry. Horry took care of them.
He sure did hip check them into oblivion![]()
Lol...it must truly suck o be a Sun fan
I have never undertood why the Suns took apart the 2007 team, that they claim should have won the championship. If they really believed that, why dismantle the team?
I live in AZ, and I can tell you it's really an odd time here amidst the summer heat. The locals here are looking forward to, of all things, football season. Definitely weird when the Cardinals have expectations on them! They're really upset that Steve Kerr destroyed their team. I tell them he's still the hardest working Spur we have!![]()
Suns fans this year ... Lakers and Mavs fans next year. Kind of what happens when certain teams fans go overboard and try blowing smoke (hot air) up us Spurs fans legs.
That kinda intonates that the Spurs were 'Lucky' in drafting the most unselfish big man of all time. Anyone else think it might have something to do with the culture of the organazation? Don't be haters just cause you guys have the most brain dead ' big man ever (Amare) on your team.
I remember that the draft that year, there way a back a fourth between two analysts about Duncan or Van Horn
Isnt it the biggest Draft Disparity between 1 and 2
Hakeem and Bowie is the only one i can says comes close
R.I.P. Phoenix
but not really, go yourself
I live in AZ too and man its funny seeing peoples faces when I wear my Spurs gear lol
When I read some of the Suns boards there is no talk of winning a championship. Many posts start with "Since we aren't compe ive...". I miss the the Suns bravado. It was such a pleasure b!tch slapping them every year!!!!!![]()
Mavs fans are softer than Suns fans.. I miss the old days when they were contending![]()
LeBron and Darko?
The Spurs were "lucky" in drafting the most unselfish big man of all time. The lottery ball bounced their way. It was luck. If the Spurs had ended up drafting second or third, and picking Keith Van Horn, Tony Battie or Ron Mercer in that draft, the "culture of the organization" right now would be that of a perennial lottery team playing in some other city, and Gregg Popovich, rather than being on a bullet train to Springfield, would be coaching in Division III somewhere.
But at least they didn't squander away the opportunity.
