Can you give a breakdown/opinion on Ron Artest's defense for the Rockets?
1) What types of players did he guard?
2) Who had the toughest defensive assignments on the Rockets?
3) How did he fair against the different positions/ class of player?
4) General defensive scouting report?
I have to say, all this Lamar drama killed how happy I was we got Artest. I almost forgot he's a Laker. Hopefully Lamar will resign, I've been dying to see Lamar and Ron play together for years now.
Karma baby...Odom is going to leave. Artest is a great player. He can score a lot of points but he's slowed down a step defensively. I have seen him getting burned by quicker guards. If he plays the SF position then he can defend other small forwards by getting a body up on them unless he is playing a much taller player. Other than that, Artest is a chucker. When he's on and gets his feet set, great he's a pretty good three point shooter but if someone gets on him and bodies him up, he can't get his shot off and turns into a blackhole on offense. He will shoot 2-15 on those nights. lol
