What case?

Does this have something to do with his jeans?
Even Obama himself wasn't a US citizen in his first several years of life because at the moment he got born, Hawaii was still an independent country. It was several years later that happened the complete union of US, actually Barack Obama immigrated into US together with an entire state.
Hawaii was annexed by the US in 1898.
Hawaii became a state in 1959.
Barack Obama was born in 1961.
^ lol Rogue
30 seconds of googling before posting can really help!
yeah but at THAT MOMENT, it was several years later that happened the complete union of the US
whats so hard to understand?
Obama's mom is dead but she was a U.S. citizen. She was born in Kansas.
How does that add up? Obama was born in 1961. Hawaii became a state in 1959.
The question is weather of not his birth certificate is legitimate. I'm not sure that was ever settled.
Well he is, in fact, President of the United States -- so it looks like it's pretty much settled.
Well, without joining in with the truthers on this...Presidents can be disqualified from office and removed. Taking the oath of office isn't an automatic immunity from future events that could disqualify you from being in office or being removed from same.
It's in the cons ution...read it.
Tell us all Yoni, do you personally believe Obama met the qualifications for citizenship to be elected president?
I have no idea, I haven't been following the story.
What I was pointing out, to you, was that just because he's now the president, matters that could disqualify him are not moot.
What matters?
You have no idea what they are, although you are joining the thuthers by hoping something could be true.
Tell you what, why don't you go off and educate yourself about this issue about which you admit being completely ignorant, and then let us all know if you think Obama meets the citizenship qualification for the presidency. I personally think Palin would have made an issue of it if the stupid claims had any merit. There was ample time before the election for Republicans to actually make a case -- they didn't.
I'm sorry, I'm not that interested.
Would I be disappointed if Obama were removed from office? No.
So you join the birthers from a position of complete ignorance.
Sounds about right for you.
You know, you're a ing gnat.
You know, you are ignorant and a liar and a plagiarist.
Here's an article that sums things up nicely -- even including interviews with McCain's general counsel regarding the Obama citizenship question.

Let me know if you read it or choose to remain ignorant on this issue.
Aren't there more important issues?
I would think that you would be concerned and in this case elated that Obama might not be qualified to hold the office. You decided to post in this thread, and I don't see you posting about anything else right now.
What's the problem?
Too many words for you?
Can't pass it off as your own now?
If you want to just remain ignorantly hopeful about this, it's your choice.
I decided to post in this thread because I knew it would wind you up. You're like one of those toys with the key in its back.
I post, you start nattering about like a little tin toy.
I think it's a non-issue unless it becomes an issue. Not something in which I choose to involve myself.
You know you could have read that entire article in the time it took you to respond.
You really love being ignorant.
You know, you could just move on to another topic and quit buzzing around me like a gnat.
You really love being the fool to my straight man routine. I appreciate it.
