this has been asked so many times...and the answer is quite easy.
Those that have been here longer build a reputation and have their names colored
Why do some users have colored usernames and others don't? Can you edit it like that our does it just happen when you reach a certain post count or something?

Maybe you don't have to be here a "Certain" time i guess but also look at it this way, if you're a bad poster, you get pinked. If you are good, you get the color
The color change depends on who your fav team is spurs-blak la-purple rox- red etc..... But you have to be OG.

That is not true at all. Some of the newest posters or posters like Sook have their name colored and they are not any "better" posters than others.
I think it is just a team thing and they started doing it recently.

You are a good poster IMHO. At least you are several light-years superior to the majority of the Rockets fans, which contains a huge group of idiots who claim to be Rockets fans yet have little knowledge about their team or the NBA league. Even idiots like djohn2oo8 has got the red color which he doesn't deserve, though dude is barely above average in sight of the entire Rockets fan base. Actually there aren't so many real Rockets fans around the world if those idiots are not counted, and sook is surely one of the real Rockets fans who have genuine love for their teams.Why does everyone view me as a bad poster
It was not a shot at you Sook, just saying that you are not any better than other posters. Even lakaluva has his name colored and he is just stirring up 98% of the time. It has nothing to do with how good you post.
If you happen to be a fan, you get the color if you were around when they did the first color changes. If you came after, you might have to wait.

I wonder why I am not gold yet if it is by how good your posts are. I am sure we are all in agreement that I am the greatest poster this site has ever seen.
