Great thread
Don't worry about it Suns,Spurs, and Mavs fans, Shaquille O'Neal, Jason Kidd, and Ime Udoka will carry you to the promised land. Oh wait, that never happened did it. BAHAHAHAHAHAHA![]()
Only to the extent we didn't hold onto the other Gasol and rob them of Mike Miller as long as we were looting 'em.
You are suck.
When did anyone say Ime Udoka would be the Spurs answer to the Gasol trade anyway? If you're gonna troll at least do it right.
This. +1.5
God this is why everyone hates us Laker fans. Thanks OP, now I have to hear people call me "Stupid Laker Fan" because dumbasses like you don't know how to act like anything other than a .
OP is definitely fail. But don't stick your head too far up their asses. Mavs/Lakers/Spurs all have fans doing like this here.
Unfortunately true.
I have been presented with the opportunity to chastize Chris Wallace and I cannot pass it up. This is the idiot who traded Joe Johnson to the Phoenix Suns for Rodney Rogers and Tony Delk. He said it was for veteran leadership and post presence. The results were shaky, and we almost witnessed Johnson's revenge on his former team in the 2008 postseason. Weeks from being fired he refused to re-sign Rogers, a free agent, allowing him to defect to the Conference-Champion Nets. His reasoning? Because he was too expensive. This was before he traded traded the Celtics 3-best player, and only point guard, to the SuperSonics for the six-years remaining on VIN BAKER'S CONTRACT for Kenny Anderson. Anderson had one year and 9.7 million-dollars coming off the Celtics books in the 2003 offseason.
With this on his resume, the Memphis Grizzlies hired him. Then there's Pau Gasol. No more needs to be said. That is Chris Wallace, ladies and gentlemen.

Amazingly bad GM*. Another reason why he traded Johnson was because he wanted to clear playing time to Kedrick Brown, who he had picked in the same draft. And he sent a pick with him. There weren't 6 yrs remaining in Gin Baker's contract though, just 3 or 4 (which was still terrible enough, of course).
*I don't think Wallace is actually a GM in the sense that he takes decisions though. He's just a smooth-talking face bad ownerships can rent.
