The first few months the Lakers have alot of home games to get off to a great start but it is january where the big road games against the elite comes
here is the schedule for the key games in january
@ Portland
@ Spurs
@ Dallas in a back to back hense why I mentioned the Dallas game
Orlando at home
@ Cleveland
@ Boston
that Cleveland then Boston in a 7 game road trip in all is alot like last years trip where L.A dominated.
Cant help but think with Artest added in now that they could well win all the road games @ Portland, @ San Antonio, @ Cleveland and @ Boston.
Luckily for L.A none of those road games against the elite are on a back to back which will favour L.A compared to last year where they had to go to S.A and Boston on a back to back.

Reasonable assumption. Artest will bring a fresh esprit de corp especially to contests where the outcome is at genuine risk.
Now at 1,001..should I make a thread for it? nah don't want to seem showey.
The real test for the Lakers will be play off time not regular season because either way they are gonna make it to the playoffs as a contender for the le
I think they lose to Portland, San Antonio and Boston.
You ain't winnin here. I'll tell you that right now...
They should really just worry about Portland, San Antonio, and Boston.
None of it will matter really. All about the playoffs.
This Laker team has nothing to prove in the regular season.
the post christmas east coast roadtrip. they get annoying. 7 games
no chance that happens. There is no way L.A loses all 3. The fact none of these games are on back to backs helps L.A.
Does not matter. The Lakers just cannot play well in Portland. Boston, if healthy will give Lakers a lot of problems. San Antonio is just a homer vote. At least you beat the Mavs, Cavs and Magic.
But, if unhealthy we'll cruise to number 16. You can't beat that unhealthy happy horse in an opponent with a great big stick. It's better than money from home. Well, maybe not quite that good, but, damn close.
You can't use past meetings over years to suggest that..I would expect L.A to win one of two in Portland this year.
a Boston loss is more likely than any other...i expect the season series to end 1-1 with both teams winning at home. I certainly don't see L.A losing all 3 of these games.
My predictions
@ Portland W
@ Spurs W
@ Dallas L
Orlando W
@ Cleveland W
@ Boston L
Good point:::who'd a thunk it the Mavs kickin' the Spur's ass all over the state of Texas just a few months ago?
You try and troll Spurs fans with every post![]()
They're a pretty easy mark...I got numerous requests on my PM after I got here:
- "Oh, please Culburn kick that Spurs ass like you did the Suns ass."
- "Oh, please Culburn kick that Mavs ass like you did the Suns ass."
- "Oh, please Culburn kick that Suns ass like you did the Suns ass."
- "Oh, please Culburn just leave."
