It's 5-0 and, unlike some other individuals, we're not likely to see him post-HOF hoopin' it up at 50; at least not in the NBA.

Plus, actually seeing all his accomplishments -- something ESPN failed to put in perspective with their: 2-time champion, League MVP, and Gold Medalist, intro. -- layed out in one tidy write-up gives you a much better grasp of his greatness.

David Robinson is a two-time NBA champion. He is a recipient of the Most Valuable Player award. He won both the Defensive Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year awards. In the ‘93-94 season, he won the scoring le, leading the league with 29.8 points per game. In the ‘90-91 season, he won the rebounding le, leading the league with 13 rebounds per game. In the ‘91-92 season, he won the blocked shots le, leading the league with 4.49 blocks per game. He is the only player in history to win the MVP, RoY, DPoY, scoring le, rebounding le, and blocking le.
