son don't be too hard on him ... they still have the Thunder!!!
Wow, some major pent up aggressions there. You kiss your mother with that mouth? Hope she doesn't use tongue next time.
Thanks, boy.
Why would you talk ? You're not even a Texas fan.
OU are pretenders, they got beat by pretenders.
So... when BU gets beat 50-some to 10-some next week they are going to do so by pretenders?
By the way, can't use the 'we don't have our all-star QB' if as you obviously aren't letting uo use it.
Lol houston
Btw how is bill young working out?![]()
The U is not a pretender.....not too many people woulda predicted they'd be 3-1 after those first four games.
On the bright side, at least I won't have to watch us lose a BCS Championship game again this year.
Still a very dangerous team. They lost to a good team on the road without their top 10 pick in next draft QB. Obviously out of the le picture though
Yeah exactly, how does going 3-1 after playing 4 ranked teams in your first 4 games make you a pretender? Pretty stupid to call them that. They've had the toughest schedule in the country thus far.
Yeah considering they went into the year as a completely unproven mystery, 3-1 after that start was probably a dream scenario for Shannon. They're not gonna win it this year, but two years from now, when Aldarius Johnson, Jacory Harris, and Travis Benjamin are all seniors, they'll be one of if not the favorite. Almost all the talent on that team is freshman or Sophmore talent. Good to see the U is finally returning to elite status.

Baylor gets beat by pretenders all the time. The "Well we beat Baylor" argument hasn't been used by a legit team since well before the Southwest Conference died.
Miami only had a tough schedule if you look back on the flawed rankings and agree with them. I'm sure even you are smart enough not to do that. Miami beat an overrated FSU team, an overrated GT team (who beat an overrated UNC team to get their ranking) and lost convincingly to the only good team they've played.
Miami's indeed been a surprise, and the coach has done a good job with them. They've beaten almost everyone that's been put in front of them, which is all you can ask, but don't try to act like they're world-beaters based on the fact that their opponents were ranked too high.
