Um? The first Lakers team?
Shaqs Lakers (2000-2003) or Kobes Lakers (2008-)
Both teams were/are damn good but both teams have players who annoy the out of me like only a Los Angeles team could.
Which one of the two Lakers teams do you think were most hateable??

Fat Shaq, Kobe the rapist, and Rick Fox is a pretty damn hard trio not to hate....
I miss Fox...he was a decent defender and got in other players' heads. good ol' #17

The Laker team from whenever Sasha and Adam Morrison joined the team....At least Shaq and Kobe were a fearsome combo on those teams during the threepeat

I feel sorry for anyone who hate a team like 00-01 with Brian Shaw, Ron Harper, and John Salley. Or 01-02 with Shaw, Harper, and Horace Grant. What sad lives you must lead.

only a whipped dude would think a quarter-speed uppercut was a punch. If another NBA player were to really lay in to another with an uppercut then they'd be on the ground.
Rigged Championship I years when Derek Swisher was allowed to rest his hand on Allen Iversons forehead and face over his eyes, all while the ref stood 4 feet away and condoned it. Fixed.
Rigged Collusion Championship II year(s) whereupon Kobe was getting stuffed in crunch time repeatedly (Turkolue block, etc) only to have Jameer Nelson don his purple and gold underware and back away inside of the three point line to give that same Derek Swisher a completely uncontested trey for 3-1 instead of 2-2.
It's not basketball when Swisher is on the court. Nor most of the other Lakers either.

He was... well, I wouldn't say he was dirty, but he was borderline. He definitely had the gadfly role for that Lakers team. Remember him throwing shoulders into Scottie Pippen in Game 6 of the 2000 WCF?
Every good team has a guy who plays head games, who throws the occasional cheap shot, and Foxy was that guy for the Lakers.
