I got the imitation Reebok pumps back in the day.
did anyone here have those shoes that had little flashing lights in them every time you took a step when you were a kid?
I got the imitation Reebok pumps back in the day.
Oh yeah. I rocked those and the Nike shoes that you pumped up. I was going to be the first girl in the NBA for about two weeks....
I saved up to get a pair working all summer, then by the time it was time to afford em, they nixed the pump and went with the air canister. Total BS.
Never wore LA Gears. Always thought those shoes were complete crap.
Who wore those?
Malone or Ewing?
lol yeh they were crazy
even the reebok pumps and imitations of them....
Malone. Ewing had his own line of shoes.
My alltime favorite shoes were the Barkley 180s his last year in Philly:

I wore British Knights...
Catapult.
God, I hated them, with the stupid lights![]()
were those the shoes in Arch Rivals?
rofl
Ah, Ok
Thanks
I wore XJ900's from K-Mart.
I was like 4 or 5 so I totally rocked them and felt like the coolest kid on the block.
My parents couldn't afford those damn shoes. If I had my choice of expensive shoes back in the day it surely would had been a pair of Jordans. Or maybe to a lesser extent Reebok Pumps which we couldn't afford either.
I had ones that had like twisties on the sides. They were red and black. I forgot I even had them until I saw this thread. I also had British Knights when Marky Mark endorsed them and FILAS, when I was into Jamal Mashburn...........I have no Idea why
I had these as well as the payless pro wings. I didn't get my first brand name shoe until I was about 10 and it was only because my mom found some reeboks at the second hand store. Didn't matter to me because they were reeboks.
Thats right... I got a pair of Converses from Academy back in the day because they were Larry Johnson's shoes. the Charlotte Hornets back in the mid 90s were a fun team to watch.
lol who cares about sneakers...
