...could be a tough game. USC needs to win out to go to a BCS game.

USC should win this game, but they don't deserve a BCS game if they aren't in the Rose Bowl.
be quiet.
Seriously dude. How can you justify USC getting a BCS game with a loss to UW and that beat-down by the Ducks???
simple...USC lost on the road to washington without their QB and oregon is one of the 2 best teams in the country. with wins over 4 top 25 teams, 3 on the road and an overall record of 10-2...you'd hardly find many teams with a better resume. factor in its USC and its a shoe in...the one caveat being, winning out.
if USC wins out, they will easily be in a BCS bowl game. watch...
but USC is the most talented team in the nation, just look at the talent, its a pro team, they dont rebuild they reload!
I guess we'll see. I don't think they have a snowball's chance.
Not that I would mind. It would mean more money for the Pac-10.
After looking as dumbfounded as I have ever seen them in my life, one can only hope they come out and find that "it" on the defensive side. The offense did okay against Oregon, but man was it horrible to see them on Halloween Night. I don't think it was wise to continue to run a scheme that was heavily reliant on the likes of Mauluaga, Cushing, and Matthews...it'll be interesting to see what goes on for the rest of the year, but I don't think at this point USC deserves a BCS bowl.
they don't. I think they're going to be real good next year with Barkley having a full year, though.
They'll beat Arizona St.
Barkley is alreaday achieving more than I even expected from him. I won't be surprised if he ends up bringing no. 8 back to Heritage Hall. The defense is going to be the focal point for the next few years as they lose a great portion of the secondary to graduation/nfl. It'll be on that side where the recovery time will take the longest.
Except that SC is currently ranked ahead of Ore, which makes no sense whatsoever. I think this will gradually be corrected as SC slides down and Ore slides up.
SC hasn't beaten anyone worth anything right now. Beating Stanf and Zona will ensure they are not in the Top 25 as well, plus Zona plays the most insane schedule to end the year. SC will not have beaten a single team in the final top 25.
Don't use that "They were in the Top 25 when they beat them" arguement; it is for ignorant people grasping at straws. In reality it only means they beat teams that were vastly overrated or who have completely fallen apart and thus were no worthy in the first place.
jgw...as much as I think that usc is a powerhouse, they dont deserve any kind of bcs consideration. The agys dont deserve a bowl bid either (just messin with ya with the last sentence).
why do you dislike USC and the Pac-10 so much? it doesn't make sense.
btw, they will have beaten ohio state @ ohio state and oregon state (who has a good chance to finish out in the top 25). further, the quality of the pac-10 and them beating each other up can make the 'they beat 'em when they were ranked' argument relevant. finally, most of the pac 10 teams that are ranked could remain ranked or become ranked again, when we finish undefeated in bowls (again)
...but i do agree about oregon.
usc will win by 3 td's...espn will be ing all over themselves again...usc will move up about 4 spots in the bcs
It's almost like I've seen this situation a million times before
I think USC easily makes a BCS game with 2 losses if they win out. Computers ing LOVE USC. Happens every year.
Both of these teams are going down when UA visits them.
Idk why that's extremely unrealistic.
could wind up being sc vs ua for the rose bowl...wish it was a home game, but I'm going to that game in the coliseum head to toe in UA clothing...should be fun.
