i get free Amazon gift cards twice a month.
I've had good luck with amazon over the years, including customer service.

Try AOL customer service. They absolutely refuse to cancel your service and instead try to make you promise a long term commitment into signing up for their other services

I got it... but via craigslist and not amazon.
The ers ed up my ing order and when I called to fix it they told me everything was ok........ then I get an email 2 days later saying that everything was not ok and that my order had been cancelled.
I thought everything would be cool and I'd just reorder, but they wouldn't allow me to get the same Black Friday deal that I'd orginally got even though the entire mess was their fault.
As soon as the rep told me basically that I was SOL, he said have a great day and clicked.
email amazons support that story along with your confimation page/email from your original purchase. Believe it or not amazon.com was rated as top company for customer satisfaction with usaa coming in #2. So it's companies like that you can get free from.

Can't say enough good things about Newegg. They really pulled my ass out of multiple jams when I built my first desktop.
